Sea (Yam)
Sea (Yam) grew from Tzidkiyahu’s experience of the sea as a place where calm, intensity and release coexist. The work brings photography, sound and movement into a single installation.
Photographic transparencies were positioned above the speakers, where vibration from the sound set the images in motion and translated music into visible movement.
The soundtrack featured Yetziat Mitzrayim by Eti Ankri in a version prepared specifically for the installation. The work was dedicated to Tzidkiyahu’s cousin, filmmaker and screenwriter Sharon Amrani, who loved the sea.
