Photographic Series
Children on the Walls
Created during the COVID-19 period, this series looks at motherhood from within the home and at the visual traces left by children’s presence. The photographs follow a domestic environment shaped by improvisation, disorder, repetition, and the shifting boundaries between care, routine, and creative work.
Rather than treating these traces as damage or interruption, the series attends to them as marks of occupation, expression, and negotiation. Walls, floors, objects, and corners of the house become surfaces through which children reshape the space around them.
The work does not seek to restore order. Instead, it looks at the home as a changing structure in which clutter, intimacy, restraint, and creativity exist at the same time.
